Resolutions are a tradition of the turn in calendar, so we thought we’d send along ideas for financial resolutions to make this year to help make 2021 prosperous. Set a Budget. Audit your finances to see where your spending. Determine a plan and stick to it! Contribute More to Retirement. Could you be putting more away? What expenses can you cut? Even a small amount makes a big impact down the road. Review your Emergency Fund. Do you have enough to sustain 6 months of living in the event of an emergency? If not, try to get your emergency fund fully funded. Get Properly Insured. This goes for all kinds of insurance. Review what you have, and what you're missing. Ensure you’re properly covered and think specifically about life insurance. Pay Down Debt. If you have debt hanging over your head, make a goal of what you want to pay down, starting with the highest interest rates first.
